Slowpokeking.8720
She is NOT corrtupted by Kralkatorrik, but created as the offspring of the dragon just like the Shatterer and Claw of Jormag.
Randulf.7614
If memory serves the devs confirmed this in the last episodes Q&A. They just wouldn’t elaborate further

crepuscular.9047
There's a difference between offspring vs creationGlint is an offspring, her blood is related to Kalk, hence the original dragonblood spear made from her blood was capable of hurting KalkShatterer on the other hand is a creation, not related by blood, but created from Kalk's magic or a dragon that became corrupted by Kalk, otherwise dragonblood spear could have been made from ShattererClaw of Jormag is likely the same as Shatterer, a creation, not an offspringTequatl maybe, considering Zhaitan is the embodiment of undead magic, probably a creationOther possible Elder Dragon offsprings include Drakkar and Frostfang

I dont really think there is anything in the lore that would exclude these "creations" all being made with parts of their elder dragon? Maybe he just decided yeah lets not make shatterer with blood this time, that was a mistake.

Speaking of doing the nasty perhaps thats how aurene is able to be in control of the magic she absorbs maybe shes half dragon half god/something

Branded blood didn't have as much effect on Kralkatorrik as Aurene or Glint did, and Vlast was very effective against Branded. This is because their resonance were closer related to Kralkatorrik, which was stated to be because they were of his bloodline. This is why they're called scions - which literally means children. If The Shatterer was the same as Glint, then we could have just taken its crystals and blood to make Dragonsblood Spears more superior than those we made during All or Nothing (I'm not sure why we didn't do that to Glint, other than respect). Same would go for the Wraithbringer, since that is put on par to The Shatterer. Neither, however, are ever called scions. There are also several species that could reproduce asexually, thus not needing a mate. It is possible that the Elder Dragons - or at least Kralkatorrik's bloodline - is this much.@"crepuscular.9047" said:Other possible Elder Dragon offsprings include Drakkar and FrostfangI'm not so sure. We don't know what Frostfang is, but Drakkar's appearance is well known. Jormag, however, has a description not quite matching Drakkar's. Jormag is often called the serpent, and the totem made to represent him looks serpentine suggesting he may have a similar appearance as Mordremoth. Though Jormag is also depicted with wings, so perhaps closer to Xiuquatl. He was also said to have flown above the fleeing norn on their journal south, so a winged serpent appearance seems most likely to me.On the other hand, Mordrem Spitfires bear a heavy resemblance to Mordremoth, and are even called "Lesser Mordremoth Heads" by the artist who made the render for them. So its possible they're Mordremoth's offspring. All dead now though.
Kalavier.1097
My theory/viewpoint was that Kralkatorrik corrupted Glint at some point. Notice how her body was entirely crystalline (compared to Vlast or Aurene) where Kralkatorrik and the shatterers are crystal and rock. There is a line about the forgotten cleansing Glint, giving her free will again but "her body remained crystalline". There are other bits that imply she actually continued working alongside Kralk for a while before eventually understanding the mortal races enough to consider turning against him, or at least concealing pockets of people from him and the other elder dragons until they went back to sleep. Either way, there was some element of mental control over Glint that Kralkatorrik had, which the forgotten removed (They later all got branded attempted to perform the same ritual on Kralkatorrik). Glint was never hinted to have any partners yet she had Aurene and Vlast. Kralkatorrik is most likely the same meaning they can reproduce without the need for partners. Which fairly matches the original lore we had for the Elder Dragons, which is that they do not have a gender "as Tyrians understand the concept". If they're all monogendered, then they would/could choose whether to be masculine or feminine, despite the lack of biological difference.
Kalavier.1097
We know Glint had a lot of eggs in her lair, only two of which apparently survived. Now how old were these eggs is completely unknown, they could've been made alongside another crystal dragon when the elder dragons were last awake.Could be that the core dragon race simply reproduce extremely slowly?
