Snipers Nest - Achievement

how does it work?i stand beside Zafirahs, she shoots 3 times and disappears. no Achievement.

She will spawn and start hunting after camp waypoints are up, idk if the location and time is random but here is where i got it in the burning forest, also someone on reddit had reported they got one just north of Melandru wp. You have to be within her hunting ground NOT stand beside her.

Up the ledges to the highest platform exactly where i'm at in the picture, lots of shadowy mobs patrolling, not floor level.

Same, got it at the exact same position, 1-2 minutes after the camp was unlocked.

I think you have to be within certain range when she starts picking off mobs, if you are there after she started it wont count

first time i saw her was in Melandru's domain just north along the camp on an upper ledge on top the main road as i was flying around looking for Skyscale's scale, think it was just north the fork to the south bridge

and yeah... funny, i too got it along the road in burning forest while following NPCs around to unlock the camp

This achievement is a little janky. The achievement pops if you actually watch Zafirah come in and pick off an enemy. And to clarify for these people: you will only find her doing so in the burning forest. Those who've ran the prior episodes know why.

A bit dated, but I've had enough trouble trying to get this achievement over the past year that I opened a ticket about it, asking if my account was bugged, or if there is some hidden requirement to get it.

The sources I've heard incorrectly claimed that she only shows up in the south-east area (lust forest), never the north west (burning forest), while some here are saying the opposite.

So here is an official Anet reply stating it can indeed happen anywhere, at any event, BUT, she will only ever appear AFTER all three (3) waypoints are placed.

I got it in middle lane while escorting a patrol from base camp to the newly established waypoint.

Even more dated, but it may be possible that they have changed the requirements for the achievement because I got it during the escort to one of the camps (and none of the waypoints were placed yet). Funnily enough I got it whilst sitting in one of the spots as I was reading this post.

Also, no this was not in the burning forest either; this was perhaps halfway down the road to Mist Warden Camp and west of Verdance Falls
