Guild Wars 1 is acting strange

Today when I logged in to Guild Wars 2 I received that automatic message that revokes unearned titles. I went oh ok, I will log in to Guild Wars 1 to refresh that thing then, but the servers cannot be reached half the time. My PC icon was not working, so I opened it directly from Steam, but that gives a failure message also. It eventually logged in but before it, it was more on the track of "This game is does not even exist, what are you doing to me?"

Had the same issue, HoM titles got revoked (has happened before, logging into GW1 fixes it) but my computer couldn't locate the game when I tried launching it from my taskbar. I could open it from the Guild Wars folder, but that screwed up my settings somehow when the game got launched.

Attempting an uninstall and using the "reinstall Guild Wars to this location" seems to have fixed the issue (and my settings). Hope this helps.
