Old Free Account Has No Access to Black Lion Trading Company

I let my son have one of my old free Guild Wars 2 accounts from 2 years ago so that we both could be on the same server (Fort Aspenwood). He has a level 16 Charr hunter. When we both go to the Black Lion Trading company to sell his items, all items are locked except crafting materials. Everything that he trys to sell says it need verification and must wait 4 days. The account is 2 years old and has been verified with the SMS verification. Is this all happening because he is playing on a free account? I kind of sold him on the game being free with very little restrictions because he wanted to go back to WoW. Now he's harrassing me because the game isn't really free because the auction house is blocked unless you buy an expansion.

Yes, free accounts are limited in what they can sell and buy. It shouldn't be a problem for the most part since you can just salvage and sell it.

Still problems. I upgraded the account to include HoT and PoF and still can not sell at the Black Lion Trading company. It is still locked.

You have to wait a few days I think? Its to stop scammers and gold sellers from messing up the econemy.
