ppt is popular for the wvw rank grind

easy solution: make new wvw exp consumables that only drop from other playersmake those wvx consumables drop 100% (meaning you allwways get atleast one, if you are entitles to the enemy loot : tagging)

4 tiers

t0 basic 1 wvw exp per kill 100% drop chancet1 fine 3 wvw exp per kill 50% drop chancet2 masterwork 6 wvw exp per kill 25% drop chancet3 rare 10 wvw exp per kill 10% drop chance

1 enemy can only drop 1 consumable per player. the highest drop applies

now imagine 50 vs 50 fights, kills here and there that would be a steady amount of "extra" wvw exp on top of what you allready gain from defeating players.

That is no answer, you cannot punish people who play the game this way. They will simply say "well, we sucked the last 10 fights, we died, why do you ban us?". Did they punish the UD title abusers? Nope. Plus people will bandwagon to "fight" servers.

I get that, but it should be the other way around - more XP per player kill

how do you plan on fitting more people on a server that is allready full tho?

server merges based on guilds? since guild wars actually needs to be encouraged - of course it can sound pretty on paper, it's a matter of execution

You would go to EOTM, but you dont because there are no organized fights? What exactly hinders you to organize GvG fights in EOTM? You seem right, that I missed the point of this thread. Whats wrong with Guilds fighting for objectives=PPT (+PPK)?

Fight guilds..Too lazy to ppt...Too lazy to organize fights for themselves..Too lazy/scared to even fight each other on a regular basis.. but our gvg comp isn't online!Four arenas get made for them, nope still can't be bothered, one only our matchup, two are pve rules, one we can't even fight people on our own colored side!Let's go ppt in eotm where winning means getting 100 supply to citadel every 4 hours, because it wasn't actually run for fast leveling and rewards.Let's take ppt out of wvw, because that's obviously the real reason people don't join fight guilds and don't fight each other in the open flat field all day long, those 5 people up in that tower defending against 25 with their siege deserve to be forced out in 3 mins to face their honorable deaths with siege burials.But winning means nothing in wvw too! right? Other than giving wvw an actual purpose and having an actual impact on standings of your server.But wait, no need to ppt, no need siege, no need to defend, no need to win, just transfer out of t4 to the next bandwagon and get carried in ppt instead.But yeah leave ppt to eotm, lets take ppt, siege warfare, and winning out of wvw, lets just randomly shuffle servers around at reset instead, just make sure you don't give us BG in the match, in fact just put BG in a match by themselves, they'll happily own everything and their scouts will have more tv time.Then automate everything for us, and give us a map of a flat grass field the size of alpine ruins (don't worry we'll complain later it actually needs to be the size of ebg), automated tournaments and seasons and make sure to let our guild of 25 fighters face off against 25 random solo queue pugs. Wvw will finally be saved by the guilds.kthxbye!

The last time I was in eotm, i was constantly looking for fights and found none - it seems to be something across the board that no guild who wants fights is willing to do in eotm, there are whales that pay guilds to stay on X server and fight for it. the one thing I constantly see is how wvw is a dead instance because everyone ppts (which clearly isnt true, otherwise noone would ppt) but there is no incentive to ppk. I'm just saying make ppk higher than ppt- keep ppt where it is. There is nothing wrong with guilds wanting ppt- thats why black gate is where they are, they hide in towers and over siege them.

Actually if you'd all stop stacking on flavor of the month server then you might actually get to fight each other.But who wants to do that when you got your squad of FB farting out boons, scourge throwing shades and scrapper healing everything and running over pugs and claim you are fighting guilds.

This kind of system already exists though. You get more wxp from players that dont die often. You just dont notice it because it's added automatically, not through potions.

They can even implement it so you get more wxp from players with a lot of kills since the last time they died. Abusing t0 loot would be a waste of time.
