Nitestorm Silverkin.7260 Posted October 6, 2017 Share Posted October 6, 2017 Before the launcher gets to the login part, it sits for about 5 seconds on "Downloading 0kb..." and then it displays a red message "Connection error(s) detected. Retrying..." and then just sits there. Restarting the client, or the PC does nothing. Flushing the DNS does nothing. Help? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After 30mins or longer+ I eventually get to log in. This only occurs with this game!Actually right now I can't even play! I'm stuck at first patch screen and haven't even made it to login. dagrdagaz.4913 Posted October 7, 2017 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Had the same problem this week.https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/7336/game-wont-update-connection-error-detected-try-again#latestI do not know if deleting more GW2 files was really needed, or if only replacing the exe file was enough.Solution that worked for me;Copying a GW2 exe from my other laptop that did not have any GW2 connection problems.If u dont have that, try downloading the GW2 setup version u want (32,64 or mac) and rename that accordingly.
