Sigh once again its scaled to the human model and not the average sized charr model also uses a recycled animation that most charr dont like because it makes them look painfully cramped into the chair.

Ive been crying for a charr culture chair for months and we get one thats
1: scaled to a human model making the chair look too small for a charr of almost any size to sit in.
2: a recycled pose that does not work well for charr with 95% of the chairs that poses is used on.
To make things worse i know im still going to buy this chair because its going to likely be the only charr ish themed one we get for a long long time sad face
Yes i know chairs scale based off your character creation height slider but thats not what i mean.
What i mean is the chair at its base size (Before character creation scaling is applied) is too small. Small enough so that a human sits in it comfortably with plenty of room but not too much room. When a charr sits in it the chair looks unreasonably small and they barely have any room. To make it worse you pair it with a pose which capitalizes this and makes it more direct. The pose makes the char look like he is holding himself slightly out of the chair because he knows if he fully sits he wont be able to get back out of it or that is painful to sit in. There is no extra room.
This chair should have been made with a charr model of roughly Bangar's size sitting in it and before any character size scaling is applied to it.
The chair should look unreasonably big if anything other than a charr sits in it and thats ok ITS A CHARR's CHAIR
Im more disappointed with this design and the sitting position than people are over having to pay for extra build templates... im not even mad about having to pay for build templates

That degree of difference between the advertised image and the reality is out of bounds. This fits the technical definition of false advertising. I would ask for a refund.
Yeah, that's a pretty bad difference there. For once I agree that refunds should be granted, if the chair can't be changed so that charr actually have the pose in the pic (and have a chair that is to the proper scale).

You can only preview the item itself. No way to preview what your character looks like when sitting on it, so even the size is kind of ambigious.
I was actually going to buy it, because I mistakenly thought I would have the Proper charr slouch, as well as the proper size. You've just saved me a bad purchase.

Anet, I understand that you want the chairs to have a standard size across all character, but please consider all races when choosing that size. A charr themed chair should not look like a kiddie chair when sat on by a charr. This chair is a pretty big disappointment.
Or, at the very least, have the preview include your character sitting on the chair somehow so people can see how it will really look.
I agree, something seems odd here. However, and I hate to point this out, this is a "chair". People are using in-game gold, or real world money, to buy gems in order to get a chair. Not a skin - that at least moves with your character, but a chair. Maybe I'm missing something, but I fail to see the point in these.

You know whats funny about this? My norn who is the largest norn you can be has a proper pose, that exact pose while my charr who is not quite as big as they can get doesn't. My norn dwarfs alot of the charr even when they are at max height... so I feel like they didn't even mess with the charr model to make it have a better pose.

Husband compared it to an adult sitting in a chair specifically designed for toddlers. Sure you might just barely be able to fit in it but you're not comfortable.
He's not even as into the game as I am and he agrees there's something wrong when the chair you get in a Raid looks better for Charr than one you actually pay for that was designed FOR the Charr.
What I want to know is why a chair designed for a race with a tail, has no hole in the back for them to sit comfortably?
Even if the size were big enough, you'd expect such a feature so they wouldn't have to curl their tails around and avoid sitting on them when using a chair they themselves designed

If you dont wanna put any effort into charr then just remove them from playable race honestly cuz whats the point. To this day i run revenant armor with t3 helmet cuz everything else looks like a kitten.

P.S. If you are considering getting the Chilly Chaise chair: don't. It has the same issue and - in general - the most boring sitting pose. It only looks acceptable on female Norn, to be honest.

lets remind of mounts situation too, when my charr are in a raptor, i remember a old mmo where i can mount pigs 20x smaller than me.

Im rarely in the camp of complaining... but yeah this is unreasonable. Chair needs to change or people should eligible for refunds.
