Gryphon.2875 Posted October 13, 2019 Share Posted October 13, 2019 Why didn't they incorporate the Ebonhawke gate to the Crystal Desert (that's been there since the game started) into POF or the LW seasons? Dante.1763 Posted October 13, 2019 Share Posted October 13, 2019 In the Desert Highlands theres a POI labeled "Closed Passage" it looks like it -could- run into the gate in Ebonhawke. They wanted people to get into PoF zones via a central hub (Lion's Arch) and get us to a new central hub (Amnoon) right off the bat. Going from Ebonhawke would take us more or less directly to Glint's Lair / Kralkatorrik's former location instead.Why they opted to spread Desert Highlands horizontally instead of vertically (thus allowing us to get that connection via non-golden path methods) is more questionable. I still wish they spent an update for Season 3 to connect Mount Maelstrom and/or Fields of Ruins to Desert Highlands. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
