Missing Achievment - Hero of the People Collection

Was checking dulfy's "GW2 Items Collections Guide" and I found easy achievment called "Hero of the People" in the collection tab. Don't know if there was a discussion about it, was the achievment deleted, is the achievment points of it still available for people who did it already before it was removed. Also on dulfy's site there is this quote about the achievment, "Currently bugged and cannot be activated.". Please if the devs can say something about it, it would be great.
Thank you!

  • Afaik, it never worked - it was never implemented in a working way, was only briefly introduced into the game in a bugged state and then completely removed.

If so, nothing to see here, move along.

Ironically I posted in wiki a few weeks back why we'll never see this: not all of the items in the collection are available through regular play.

  • Hero of the People was never implemented in the game. It was an interesting idea with a flawed execution (as noted by Sariel: some of the items were nearly impossible for most players to obtain). In addition, the fact that some bag names are reused 5-10 times (for items of the same rarity, with different loot tables) would make it extremely difficult for people to figure out what's going on.

It would have been nice to see it in game; I doubt we ever will.

  • I managed to get all the required champion bags for this but it sadly was never implemented :anguished:
