Season 5 portal tome?

So every season will now have its own Portal Tome?Why can't they just be combined all into one?

I was thinking the same thing. How much more convenient would that be to click on the content of choice (S3, S4, VIP area), then select the chapter (or between the VIP areas that you have passes to).

I would really like that too. It'd be just one more click to save a fair few shared slots. It'd be great to put a compendium like that in the game.

They should have just merged it into the UI. A little waypoint icon next to the episode in the story journal for example.

Let's be real - I don't mind for a minute having to pay a premium for each new tome. I wouldn't for a minute mind paying to upgrade my existing tome to take the new scrolls. But the whole purpose of something like this is to share it - and that means putting it into a shared inventory slot. And whilst I don't mind paying for those either, they're limited in quantity, and I do somewhat take exception to having to take up an ever-increasing number of my precious slots with different versions of, basically, the same item, that I've already paid for - or being forced to decide which scrolls/tomes to share, and which to retire and not be able to use, without some work, after all.

Either I am hallucinating but I seem to recall there was a book you could buy that portal scrolls could be added to. I rarely use them anyway, I do the story instead.

Yeah, they're talking about the book from S3 and the book from S4 (and from future seasons, and maybe other passes) combined into one single item.

Maybe there's one back in Grothmar. I haven't played in awhile but I know there wasn't one at the episode release. Unless I'm overlooking something.

We've been given a Season 3 and 4 portal book to place our portal scrolls in but so far nothing for Season 5. Can we get the same book please?

^^ This. I see no reason for the S3 tome to not have "chapters" added to it for Seasons 4 and 5.

We definitely need a tome to combine the two. They are taking up one more shared slot than they need to.

I thought they would put one out once there were multiples. Hopefully we don't have to wait until the end of the saga because with all the new items every patch bank/share slot space is becoming even more precious.

Was wondering about this as well. We need a time. I dislike using too shared spaces for this.

Also gonna chime in with the notion that I would rather we get a tome sooner than later, please don't make us wait until the last chapter. The scrolls take up too many inventory slots as is.

What I'd prefer is a tome that houses ALL S3 through S5 portal scrolls, so we can free up some space in shared inventory (like they did with the keys).

This would be darn amazing.

As for the S5 tome though, I think they just forgot. As far as I can remember, both LS3 and 4 tomes were introduced with the second map = second portal scroll. Technically this is the first episode, but we have 2 scrolls already, so I hope they'll patch it in before episode 3 lands.

You may be right about S4, but I remember the S3 tome only being available once you got to Siren's Landing (of course, keep in mind that this was me playing through that content as it was released on my DH main).

I also want the scrolls being usable from the bank.

Just to stay consistent.

Would "The Devs/Creators/Staff" be so kind as to add a Season 5 Tome?So I can have my:

• Living World 3:

  • Season 3 Portal Tome

• Living World 4:

  • Season 4 Portal Tome

• Icebrood Saga

  • Season 5 (or Whatever) Portal Tome

...all together.

Just follow the same system, only receiving scrolls from this season.Please? Pretty Please?

I'd rather have a universal portal tome for all seasons so I don't have to waste shared inventory on multiple tomes.I don't see why this isn't a thing already, i'd gladly pay gems for one that accepts all current and future completed tomes.

In addition, they should create some sort of 'Binder' to load all the tomes in.

I would like to see a single portal tome for all of the seasons now ... a single tome with menu options for Season 3, 4 and now 5, which has all of my other portal scrolls inside. Otherwise they will consume a minimum of 3 shared inventory slots, and possible bank tab slots too.
