funny because thats how it's working right now, if your skill deal 10k dmg it ignore all the dmg and heal the ranger

funny because thats how it's working right now, if your skill deal 10k dmg it ignore all the dmg and heal the ranger

Maybe Ranger pop TU then use SoS n/or DP? Right?

it's not the first time, also they aren't, they just ignore dmg while on troll unguent, they do alot of dmg, it's not really ignoring dmg because if you focus them with 3 they die but they are healing way more than it's supposed to heal

Troll Unguant is a super strong heal that heals for a ton of health and hps overall, but the gradual nature of the healing justifies the higher overall HPS as you very much have the potential to kill them through their healing. If anything We Heal As One is the ranger heal that's kind of a weird outlier still.

No, they're not.

Here is what's going on:

  1. Troll Unguent - At the best, even a Druid wearing Mender with Altruism Rune is only going to heal about 10,000 health in 8s. A RANGER wearing no heal stat, is only healing about 8,000 in 8s. This is on a 20s CD while traited and 25s normal. this is a very standard amount of health to heal in a 20s CD. Furthermore, this is not a burst heal utility. So this means that if a Ranger suddenly gets caught in a bad damage burst, he can't just heal real quick in 1/2s and get back into the combat. If that happens, a Ranger has to kite around for like 8s to actually benefit the heal. Heal over time skills are only useful when the player does not mess up their kiting. If they mess up the kiting at all, hard damage bursting such as from a Herald is a very direct counter to heal over time such as Troll Unguent.

The 2s of protection heal a DPS Ranger for like 500 in 2s. At the best a heal oriented Druid is benefitting about 900 health in 2s.

Some Rangers use pets that have additional invulns on them, but this usually comes at the cost of DPS and Mobility.

So, I don't know what you're going on about. At the best you're looking at a heal oriented Druid that has all 3 things running ok, listen to me, Troll Unguent, Rugged Growth, Regeneration, all at once for a total duration of 8s. You're looking at maybe about 2000 to 3000 health per second depending on how he's traited and which traits are currently active, which is actually only about 16,000 to 24,000 heal total. <- And in that case it will have quite seriously no damage output. A normal DPS oriented Ranger is only going to front a fraction of that, more like 1400 to 1600 per second, with all 3 effects running. Now you're looking at a total of about 12,000 over 8s on average, and it only happens once about every 20s. That's actually not much at all compared to what some other classes/builds are capable of doing.

But w/e, regardless, if you aren't pumping out enough average DPS to damage the Ranger while fighting it, you've got to be doing something wrong. I mean I'm not even trying to be insulting here. Every build in the game right now that's decently viable, is pumping out large amounts of damage. Like the kind of damage that kills Svanir in 2-4s, or like 6-8s if you're a side node stall even. Even the most sustainy builds right now, are definitely capable of dealing a lot more damage than like 1500 DPS. Like a lot more than that.

you keep with logical things but false statements, you just described how it's supposed to work but they are ignoring like 10k-15k burst while they are healing for 1k/s , if i hit for 10k and they heal 1k/s they are supposed to lose 9k hp but now their life never goes down unless you have 3 people focusing it, now if they are healing 3-4k/s something is wrong here and need a serious nerf

Maybe the guy start with "Signet of stone" before "Troll Unguent" so u've been thiking he's invulnerable and healing him self in the same time.

sorry no, also it's not "this guy", it's every ranger with it and they are picking it because they know it
