RayssaMoreira.3728
Please, tell me, why such an insane amount of boons? Aegis, alacrity, fury, might, protection, quickness, regeneration, resistance, retaliation, stability, swiftness, vigor, spam spam spam spam spam and SPAM SPAM SPAM. WHY???? Why don't you consider removing stability or protection? making gameplay smarter is a good alternative.

Sovarica.4368
They need to sprinkle some boon removal counterplay to utils or traits because too many boon builds are very hard to challenge
Alin.2468
In the past the boons/conditions were based on combos and such mechanic required teamwork mostly, as one player casted a needed field based on communication in voice chat, while other casted finishers. At the beginning, teams started using combos actively (by communicating) until it became something passive, the team obtaining synergy, getting boons/conditions together, without requesting it.Combos became redundant because of 4 important game modifications:In October 2015 Heart of Thorns was released, bringing a lot of condition/boon builds to the game's PvE.One year later (October 2016) customers voted for SoloQ only regarding PvP (as players requested previously from Anet), completely removing the needed communication for combos. In 2017 Path of Fire arrived with burst damage and power creep builds (to remove some of the condi builds) but this only put gas on fire creating even more damage.Later, the bunker builds were officially removed from PVP,; without such amulets increasing the condition/boon "spam festival" in PvP, and making it a guaranteed kill. Please note this is jut my personal opinion. Feel free to ignore it, but after 7.5 years of the same PvP mechanics and the same maps, it's quite obvious that PvP died and balancing was mostly made for PvE. Kaburro.4712
Every season is more more, more boons, more power, more condi, more CC (this is the season of CC). They lost the grip on balance long time ago so now they just add something. I bet Anet pvp team don't play the game (if there is one).
Zexanima.7851
I remember a time when it would actually be worth glancing at an enemies boons. Now so many pop in and out so fast that it's usually not worth looking except for maybe stability. There is too much of everything in the game right now, boons are one of the worst offenders. More doesn't mean better but that seems to be the philosophy Anet has been following. Most all professions need a major nerf to a lot of their stuff.
