Why infusions disable in pvp?

I know that infusions tend to be flashy and possible over kill causing animations to be obscured and frame rate drops. But they are enabled in wvw and don’t have a major impact so why not have it in pvp?

Um... Do you realize how bad infusion can get? Can you imagine fighting this:

How the hell would you see animations?

@Jayden Reese.9542 your point is one I actually didn’t think about but as well you still have to equip your armour for base toughness so u can still have infusion just it won’t have any added buffs like when comparing legendary weapon in pvp to exotic there’s no advantage

@Zephoid.4263 yes that would be hectic but think about the guy playing with that many infusions i think it would hinder him being able to see animations just as much as for the enemy and he would stick out like a swore thumb so if for example a theif you would see him going far from a mile away

:note a after thought has accrued and that a mirage with that many would be insane but wvw is still a more cancer and infusions work there and not really ever a problem

They're disabled for animation clarity.

Standard enemy and ally models exists for this reason.

I want to play my character with my infusions.

Ben has mentioned many times they want to make it so infusions work in pvp, when who knows but its on the table.Reason why they are disabled is probably due to technical problems like them giving stats etc and they need to code so they dont do that
