Involuntary Griffon dismounts?

So I just got my griffon and getting used to riding it, problem is that I sometimes get a few steps on it, maybe one flap, and then get dismounted from it.

Besides the usual smartypants comments like 'oh it just doesn't like you', does anyone have anything useful to suggest as to why it does this? There's no issue like this with any other of my mounts, just the griffon.

I encountered a similar issue yesterday while mounted on a Skimmer in Vabbi's branded region. It was not amusing to constantly get dismounted whenever hot by a lightning bolt while still at full health.

The issue was gone when I relogged, so I assume it's an engine error/bug that needs to be addressed.

I've been dismounted several times within minutes, and then not at all for hours. It seems random to me. Me and a guildie were dismounted at the same time apparently as well, so something is happening. It's definitely a bug because it should normally be impossible to dismount mid air.

This happened to me today while trying to mess about while waiting for triple trouble to start. Highly annoying.

It has something to do with miniatures since it always happens when we get that notification that they've been hidden.

I saw the same thing while flying my griffon in Siren's Landing. I'd get mysteriously dismounted, and when I re-mounted, the griffon appeared to be stuck in a position with his wings extended.

I get dismounted some times too, the first time I thought the mount just didn't wanted me to be mounted, but it seems really random and it doesn't always happen.Also, with me it happened with at least 3 of the mounts.

Probably because interaction with something dismounts you. It might be helpful to see if it is only the griffon mount that does this.

Involuntary random dismounts are an issue throughout the game. It seems to be tied to player population and/or grouping, because I am mostly seeing it during things like Serpent's Ire where we are filling the map and all grouped up in one part of it.

This is the behavior i've noticed too, when doing Triple Trouble several times last week and it happens to whole groups of players, not just individuals. Half of our squad got randomly dimounted at the same time, every few minutes while waiting in the camp for the event to start.

I think it's somehow squad related, as it's happened to me, sometimes at the most inconvenient places (in the middle of quicksand, or the Brand) with nobody around me, but I was still in a squad.

I haven't observed this problem while playing solo.

This can be done pretty much anywhere that has a bit of terrain that sticks up like this: tents, some ledges, etc.
