Steal (f1) needs an update

Can we have an update on f1 skill?

Upon successfully landing f1, the enemy will not be able to gain boons for 3 secs in pvp/wvw, 5 secs in open world

Steal is already too good skill IMO. No need to add more

I agree, steal can be so overloaded, I think ripping boons is enough.

Its so good that its not Even funny anymore :D trickery line is a must for more ini and steal. Maybe one day we get something that actually compete with trickery, its like water for ele in pvp

Taking acro Trickery and daredevil on a sword build makes steal ludicrously good for boon rip as it is, and the best way to kill a thief is to deny him his steal. No changes needed right now.

Steal is already way too overloaded. We already rely way too much on it and the risk is way too high already, if you miss it. I think we need other tools than just steal.

Yeah how about F3: Borrow ->Copy 3 boons on target and receive the the remaining effects, if you have more than 3 conditions on you Borrow becomes Payback and you copy 3 of conditions you have onto target, unblock-able. 75 sec icd also cost 6 initiative. (if both reqs are met, both Borrow and Payback will trigger)

I'm just kidding...I can imagine this is pretty f-ing OP, especially in today's meta.

F4: Grand TheftShadowstep behind your target disarm them. Their weapons are transferred to your inventory until your target opens a support ticket reporting the theft. Once reported, the weapons are discarded from your inventory and you gain 2.5 seconds of Swiftness.

i do think the swiftness would be too OP especially with dont stop.

Steal does not need an edit...not until trickery is addressed.

since they want to nerf thieves more, i want to revisit my buff thief brigade again

What about permanently applying a slow to CS gets to them later

They need to bring back Hex to Guild Wars. What OP wants is Shadow Shroud in GW1.
