Suggestion Remove 4 Stat Amulets from PvP

Name 1200 900 900Berserker Power Precision FerocityValkyrie Power Vitality FerocityAssassin Precision Power FerocityCavalier Toughness Power PrecisionHarrier Power Healing ConcentrationBarbarian Power Precison VitalityCarrion Condition Vitality PowerSinister Condition Power PrecisionRabid Condition Toughness Precision

3 Stat amulets are more tradeoff in nature than 4 stats.

Even with the nerf to 4, players will still generally choose 4 stat amulet.

4 stat amulets almost negate the risk and tradeoff in health tiers.

If you do damage, you got less defense in the 3 stats, and if you got more sustain you do less damage.

Carrion is the exception, and probably should be removed from pvp or change the vitality or power to something else.

Add some more 3 stat amulets with risk and tradeoff in mind.

So no healing?

Druid has extremely low base healing stat. It only scales decently with healing power. Asides from the fact that it doesn't deal any damage and the pets die instantly against condi or in team fights, you'd like to nerf it even more?

Tbh it's useless anyways so it doesn't affect anything. But, it's pretty funny nonetheless.

Sorry, I wanted to say add more 3 stat amulets but make sure it is balanced.

I just listed the current amulets.

Yeah that's fine lol. They removed cleric cause it had toughness + healing power in one amulet.

This would be a lot more healthy for the game.

Really though, Expertise and Concentration were just the anomalies in PvP. Magi didn't have either, but it pretty much made anyone that used it an unkillable healing bot with the power creep and it shows when it was removed.

Everything is forced with Power which is a better nudge at the damage types now.

You choose to do more damage at once or more damage overtime by other means, generally they both are equally the same. It's like transferring your ferocity into condition damage and vice versa.

Honestly having only 3 stat amulets would be fine. This alone would reduce powercreep by a lot as every spec would have to choose between being tanky or dealing damage. Bruiser builds would likely go cavalier which means they lose out on ferocity. Roaming/damage builds won't have access to extra vitality from marauders. Obviously there would have to be more stat combos, but idk. Seems alright albiet less build options and customization. I don't like the idea of less build diversity but this could open up new ones as well.

I think he wants ammulets themself have risk/reward attached to it.Like if you take healing amulet, you have no vit/toughtness so if you play guard, you will fully heal like mofo, but you can get bursted hard when you get properly set up or focused.

Amulet changes are nothing but bandaid fixes.

In a balanced game a 3 stat amulet should not be worse than a 4 stat amulet. If it is, then there are scaling issues.

There should be only 1 rule for amulets: bunker amulets should not exist to prevent a bunker meta, so toughness/vita/healing should never be a main stat on any amulet. Even the former problematic mercenary amulet (major: power+condi, minor: vita+toughness) that was removed, could work in a balanced environment. It was overpowered because condi bursts existed in the game and some classes had not enough cleansing options (both is fixed today).

Yes, but good intentions dont lead necessarily to a good result !Skills/traits that abuse amulets should get nerfed, instead of deleting the amulets. There are classes/professions that have sustain just by their mechanical design and they dont need 4 stats to still doing damage. Classes that gain their survivability by having a bit of vitality/healing, already have disadvantages and wouldnt be played anymore at all then.

Yeah but the health won't be as high, the power won't be as high and precision will be less than 50%.

It is a tradeoff if you dont crit as often.
