Might Boon Without Condition Attacks?

If the might boon grants +power and +condition, but I don't have any attacks that inflict conditions, does that means I'm essentially missing out on half the benefit of might?

Asking because I want to try a power build and wondering if I should add some condition skills/runes in.

Since you can not maximize condition damage and direct damage at once: no you don't.

Even on viper or grieving gear you don't maximize on of the damage types and of course your weapon, trait and skill choices do also benefit one damage type.

These things are bigger factors for your overall damage than the might boon.

Yur build's damage type is determined by min maxing the stats which yu are investing in.If yu are fielding a weapon or skillset which has more focus on Power damage, yur never gonna field much condition damage either way.

The only builds which take both benefits into consideration are hybrid builds, and these builds are specifically designed to not do optimal damage in both Power and Condi, but a balanced amount in both respects.

This is not to say Hybrid is better, but a Hybrid has a more diversified damage type.

You're not missing out on anything. Every attack you make will benefit from might boon regardless if it does power or condi dmg. Every dmg dealer wants might.
