Inquest...infinity resources and weak...but why?

Hmm they aren't insignificant, one of the issue imho is the uniformity of the game. When you explore Sorrow's Embrace or Crucible of Eternity you discover a more than well structured organization: Firstly with Sorrow's embrace, each have a role, you have a troop commander, a lead scientist responsible of the base/branch, some scientists and assistant, engineers collaborating to make stronger golems, and that with the dredges or at least thanks to a pact between them to provide ressources.

But where it come a lot more interesting: Crucible of Eternity. You have golem maestro able to summon several golems and using them, you have medic who care about the wounded personnel just like regular peacemaker medic, you have subversion specialists in charge of experiments, those insurgents and guard responsible of the protection/security, plus the awesome communication between all the labs: A global Intercom but also Kudu's holograms allowing you to speak to him but also speaking to other members of the complex, everything is synchronized. When the arcanic reactor started to leaks or when they were some dysfunctions about golem network, the specialists came really fast. The complex was really well managed until we killed Kudu. To sum up, the inquest diversity was the most present in that dungeon.

So, I personally expected to see those specialized personnel in Rata Primus. But Nope, and that's an issue. Even the idea of introducing new marks and even the exterminator was cool but do you see them, somewhere in sandswept, defending the complex? No ballista mark, no phalanx marks, only 1 exterminator as bounty, and one centurion just for the fun of putting it in the north west. In the second episode of LS4 Inquest is shown as weak whereas it isn't!! I still don't understand how the awakened managed to get the island, mummies against robots able to one shot the stronger elder of olmakhan and destroying anything, and still it's the mummies who win?Yeah I'm a little spicy because the Island was taken for the sake of JOKO, who was killed the EPISODE AFTER. They are just shown as the never-ending buffoons that will never be a real threat because.... well because of story decisions. For a dragon ending with the absurdity of I have feelings!

They are strong because that is surely the organization that gathered more knowledge than anybody else about the current events. PRIORY BIS Asuran edition.Always having 1 step ahead from us. Zhaithan? Yeah we already know how to control its minions! Scarab Plague? Already studying it! Kralkatorrik? Already know to communicate with branded! What's next? Jormag, primordius?? We already have lava proof suits! Cold? Pff frost proof golems!

We speak about an organization with a such a high number of members that you can't imagine, they can defend the specimen chamber with hundreds and hundreds of agents. They are covering most of Tyria, apart Norn/Charr lands and domain of mordremoth. They even developed DERV meaning they are aware of the danger of dragons, with golems able to protect their labs and data.

So many things have been forgotten, haven't they in the past created red airships copied from the pact? Why aren't they making an airship fleet?They could invade everyone, they have everything even a gate hub, sadly got destroyed, but they can restore the one in farahnur....Again, all those specialized foes in crucible of eternity that we will never heard about again? On ground labs in sandswept they fight with nothing whereas you have things existing called "Inquest Bruiser", "Inquest Medic", "Inquest Lightning Cannon" , "Exterminator IG-04", "Inquest Mega Blasters",.....

To end that, it's just no sense, where nothing already established is respected, in reality Awakened couldn't have even put a foot on the island. Also the awakened inquest within the cube imply that some of them are SCRAPPERS. So that's the cherry, if they are Inquest scrappers, why we don't see them on the ground with their gyros?

I really think that the organization is just considered as a joke. Like a plot filler without any flavor. It kinda boring to see an organization with such power but doing nothing.I arrived on sandswept, and whereas the map is perfectly well made, the environment of foes isn't following. Still some locations are cool like the sealed rooms with scared members. That fight between centurion golem and awakened abomination too, but it has no purpose, if you kill one of the two teams it doesn't change anything.Just a loop. And several Asuran Stone Portal leading to a wall.

THAT'S IT, if not main plot, they do nothing. I love Inquest. So much things I Loved in the core game.... That's LS. Beautiful maps. Half time good story, that's all.The world doesn't feel "living".
