I noticed that on Snowcrows; website that the build uses only an axe and not a scepter. From what I understand the point of the mirage build is to apply a lot of confusion, and the axe does not give confusion whereas the scepter does. Is scepter not used because the ambush skill of the scepter along with the skill 3 has a long channel time that makes it lower dps than the axe? ButcherofMalakir.4067 Posted September 7, 2019 Share Posted September 7, 2019 Confusion scale with boss atack speed. The faster boss atacks, the closer is scepter to axe. Curently fastest bosses are largos duo and scepeter is overall still worse dps then axe mirage. That beeing said, axe mirage is harder so scepter might have more dps for you. So as it has been said screpter is easier and can be used on bosses where mirage is meta except Matthias, but a mirage who knows how to execute a proper rotation on Axe will pull ahead on most bosses Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Axe does less damage from confusion but much more from other sources. vermouth.3478 Posted September 12, 2019 Share Posted September 12, 2019 If you have arcdps, you can check and compare that the main damage from axe shatter mirage is coming from torment and then confusion.
