Knighthonor.4061
This an idea, many other MMOs already have something similar to this. But right now each squad had one tag and tag can mark locations on the map and game world. But what would be an helpful tool for organizing players is the ability for Commanders to assign a secondary tag to another player in the Squad as a secondary leader or lieutenant or whatever you want to call it.There is many ways this could be used strategically. Like Commander Tag in front of the zerg and Lieutenant tag in the wing of the zerg to keep certain builds near the front or rear of the zerg. All of this while keeping the same squad chat instead of splitting the group into two commander squads. The secondary ( lieutenant) tag will only show on the map to players in the Squad. The commander tag still visible to all players on the map like now.Commander can give map marking privileges to its lieutenant tags in the group as well and Squad Broadcast privileges. Dawdler.8521
Yep it already exists and is a very underused feature by commanders. Often in the random zerg there still are... players of importance, lets call them that... that would be useful to know where they are when it becomes messy. Primary healer so you got a fallback position, primary dps so you know where the damage is, primary scout so you know where that called inc is etc. But nope commanders just say StAcKUhnMEe and assume everyone has the 0.1ms delay of bots following a scripted path, no need to think for yourself. Some of the better commanders use the markers to ground target but thats about it.Now that hidden tags are available, when running smallscale (<5) near a larger zerg I sometimes tag up just to be able to mark players. 10x the visibility for us when we get occasionally entangled in the main zerg (everyone in the squad got a "tag") and we can mark the primary backliners of the main zerg so we know where we want to be covering the rear.
