Mesmer Specialization that summons Illusions to heal with?

We don't really have a mesmer specialization that can healSo having one that can heal by summons illusions that can be dispelled for a stronger heal would be cool.

Because mesmers are based on the god LYSSA splitting yourself in two version that can switch would be coolDPS version/dark and heal version/light

But these idea's are all fragments of what ifs

Now a real solid question.Should the Mesmer Profession be able to have the option to be played as a healer, Yes or No?

If Illusionary Inspiration was more decent, that would technically fit the bill. Although an excuse for why it isn’t is probably because Restorative Mantras and All’s Well That Ends Well exists. And Restorative Illusions is basically what you’ve described, but only on the mesmer.

the AoE on the heal is too pityfull to work in fractals, and in raids you take actually good things anyways.

Kittymarks has a heal chrono: https://kittymarks.wixsite.com/kittymarks/blog/heal-chronomancerWhen I played Chrono, I use a variant of it, and with Chrono's recent July patch where the new F2 skill has a fast cooldown as long as you shatter 3 clones, you can heal pretty good when you can summon clones quickly using scepter.

Chrono is actually pretty good at healing, at least in pve.

Illusionary Inspiration combines really well with Chronophantasma. The staff Phantasm alone procs it 6 times every ~10s; 6 procs provide a total healing similar to, say, druid's Lunar Impact. And that's only one skill, you have other sources of clone generation. The bottleneck was that you couldn't shatter them fast enough, but the new Rewinder solved that issue.

You also have Restorative Mantras that you can spam in combination with Mantra of Pain. You even have a big heal button in Well of Eternity + All's Well that can reach above 10k heal in healing power gear.
