Noerknhar.3826 Posted October 8, 2019 Share Posted October 8, 2019 Hey everyone,according to the wiki, gw2 stores several client related information in the Local.dat ( https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Local.dat ).However, the wiki entry also mentions that deleting this file will not result in losing the control settings.As I am moving to a new computer tomorrow, I'd like to make sure that I don't have to re-configure all these things.Any idea where it might be stored, so that I have everything at hand straight away? Healix.5819 Posted October 8, 2019 Share Posted October 8, 2019 Local.dat only stores settings that are specific to your hardware, such as the sound device, graphics and remembered login. All of the general settings (UI options, camera, targeting, keybinds, etc) are stored by the server, so if you were to login on a new computer, you'd still have all of those settings. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
