Without Trebuchets, people could safely remain inside most structures without fear of attack. The shield generators are the BS. Let's remember they were implemented with PoF, which had MANY MANY MANY good improvements to WvW with Guild Claiming and Upgrades (well done Arenanet). Sadly that system didn't get much attention afterwards, but suchk is the Arenanet way. The shield generators were one of the things Arenanet got wrong. They look fun on paper but they are totally annoying and should be MUCH less useful than they are. I'm just guessing here, but would making shield generators vulnerable to treb shots but not catapults improve them?
