Literally just open gw2 wiki on ascended equipment and you have the list of ways to get that gear, there's really no reason for youtubers to read them for people and pretend it's content.

Reaction emote brought me here and the links looked weird after transition to the new forum, so... fixed!

oh my apologize, i'm gonna delete my useless video then

PS : lot's of people prefer to watch a video where I show ingame where each NPC are, where I explain how to get each item, than reading on the wikiI know the wiki is very detailed, & I put in description of the video wiki links. But some people prefer the video from ingame than reading.

Yes, that's totally why you did it, not because you want to monetize reading wikipedia aloud on youtube.

Why so much aggressivity ? I just created a Guide, because I want to help players, & because I love this game.My video is not about reading wikipedia, it took me a lot of my free time to edit all the stuff, record, show ingame location for players, gather information (including wikipedia, but not only). I did this to help people, no need to be that hateful.

I think you forgot to mention the stat change ability of Mist trinkets and Blood Ruby trinkets, which makes them the best option. You also forgot about the general Laurel Merchant in big cities who doesn't require additional currencies. Furthermore, there are plenty more ascended items that you can craft in the Mystic Forge - what about those?

The general Laurel Merchant costs more laurels for amulet than the wvw laurel merchant ; the badge of honor currency is very easy to get since it's in all achievement chest rewards. Thats why I spoke only about the wvw laurel merchant. You are true for the stat change !

I like it. Once again good job Cellofrag.

As for the critics: yes, this information is contained in the wiki. Yes, experienced players might be aware of this. Many new players do not immerdiatly run to the wiki nor do they understand what the wiki tells them. Having someone process and filter that information can be of great help. If it's a well made video with clear, simple explanations, more power to the creator.

PS: @Lasiurus.4067 - Where did the Weaver build thread disappear :( You replied to my question on core ele on it but I can't find it back to read it in depth and reply to it.

I know people who detest reading and prefers videos instead. It's a visual v.s. auditory learning. Also, the wiki is overwhelming sometimes. When I was looking for a specific Ascended item, I have to sift through tables and cross reference them. For instance, the table about "Available Armor Prefix" is useless information without a link to the actual item you can get in game. For example, the stats combination is described as Harrier, yet no page that lists all Harrier pieces.

Then I found this (link), which is a query method to filter all equipment. I can make a 10m video talking about everything I posted so far. And yes, that's content for people who preferred to be shown than told.

Well, that's sad...

Also, the wiki is overwhelming sometimes.

...and so is this. :D

Did he cover all of that? Also you literally have the available prefixes/stat choice listed in the links I've posted. If you get lost in that, I'm not sure what to tell you. Making "10 minute video" isn't a problem nor is it any kind of an argument.

Anyways I'm not sure why you felt the need to quote me like the people before just to say what they already said. I got over it, but I guess you really want to discuss something here, eh? Well then, lets keep going while we pretend his video isn't an attempt at money grab that just recycles information that's already available online in nearly any form you want.

edit; ah and obligatory: I totally hate writing it, but this is not a profitable "hobby" (recycling already easly available information into youtube "content"), so go to my patreon and donate o/

Hey sorry for late answer - the weaver build thread got deleted (because of showing people accusing of cheat ? I don't know)For the core ele build, was suggesting to go Earth / Water / Arcana as far as I remember, you can use the same build mechanics :)
