Cant choose between 2 professions

Hellohello

I just came back to guild wars 2 and wanted to make a fresh start. I thought of making a Charr with a melee profession. Warrior is nice but its not very interesting though. Only two left for me are revenant and guardian.Im more of a supportive/defensive person, both of them look really nice and fun, but making a choice is not my strength. xD

Pls im happy for every advice your giving me.

It will be subjective in the end and I'd play both and see which u enjoy more. Personally I find rev to be one of if not the most fun and interesting class to play if fun was the sole defining factor as I gives me a warrior esq vibe mixed with a rogue esq vibe when I'm playing shiro/glint which is a blast in my eyes

Thx for the fast reply! Ikr i kinda like rev with its animation too. Im going to look closer, what skills both professions have, builds etc.

But i guess rev atm is prolly my pick. :)

I'd look into warrior a bit more as well cuz it's high up if not on same lv as rev now that I think about it, it's super satisfying landing properly timed cc and bursting people on warrior.

Just an update, i picked the guardian profession. xD I thought its better for me because it has lots of defensive skills and i kinda like the theme of this class (knight, paladin)

I dont hate warrior but i just thought it would get boring for me to play a normal melee class. (Pls dont hate me for this. ^^')

Guardian has a lot more build variety, is clearly better at support and lacks the brutal amount of bugs that the Revenant has faced forever, mostly due was a late introduced class which never had a functional core build and always felt rushed and incomplete. Don't fiorget also that the Revenant designer left the company time ago and seems that the team that currently balances the profession is unable to make changes in the code without accidentally breaking and bugging essential lines. If you google "Revenant bugs" you'll feel yourself flooded...
