I'm back to it and still stalled.Can we at least get a response on whether this is being looked at please?Update: I hung around the outpost and kept logging in/logging out until I found a map that was doing the defense event. Yeung.2478 Posted November 21, 2019 Share Posted November 21, 2019 This is a chain of events, after the initial defence mission at the outpost, there is one at the north of it, and then escorting event, etc, all of them are [Group Event]. If you only did the first, and no one engages second, it will end. Please note that at the final bit, if Nayrim dies, event fails, as no rewards. Today, no Makali after 2 hours, not very motivated to do it anyway since it will prob not lead anywhere. Kind of a sucky thing especially since the mount costs 250g. Im currently wating for Nayrim to spawn. Logging in, loggin out, changing maps. I defended the frigging village 6 times now and nothing happened. Am i supposed to do this for how long yet? Just Brax.8731 Posted October 18, 2020 Share Posted October 18, 2020 I was able to get nayrim's escort quest to appear after the town siege, by completing the surrounding events immediately after defending the town. My group hopped several maps to try and get the escort event to appear to no luck. We almost gave up, but decided to do several other events. I log out and log in until the defense event happens and then wait and look by the watering hole and around town for about 40 minutes. 2 days now and nothing. After a couple days of defending Makali and then waiting for hours and switching maps in vain, I started completing the surrounding events and then checking back after each one. It was after defeating the bounty champion Dhael Skyspeaker near Kanuz Cache that Nayrim's escort quest was finally triggered for me. I don't know whether it's this specific event that needs to be completed, all of them along Nayrim's path, or just the ones near Kanuz Cache, but hopefully this points some frustrated people in the right direction. Did the outpost event sucessfully waited, then came map closing befoer Nayrim returned. Did the outpost event again, and again came the map closing before Nayrim returned. Now the map seems to be full.. for the moment. So I'm sitting here for now ober 2 hours, still having to complete the outpost event... and hoping that the map will not close again.. And it not only hinders the Griffin progression - it also hinders progression specilisation weapon collection. Can't be that hard to shorten time of Nayrim's return.
