Class to pair with a guardian for dungeon + fractal ?

My bro is playing a guardian planing to mostly focus on support and healing if needed and as I read the comment it seems that he happned to choose the FotM class. I play a necor whne he is not logged on but I'm looking to create a character just for when I'm playing with him.

I'd like a class that can pair well with his guardian and I don,t want an overly complex char since it will be mostly a casual alt.
