What if Revenants are thematically hosts, with two spirits inside them fighting for dominance?
This is translated into the two Legends that the players pick.
The two spirits share a single resource bar which functions similarly to our current Energy resouce but with a twist.
This Bar does not deplete, but using abilities from a Legend will cause the other Legend to start dominating the Energy bar.
For example : If one uses Shiro/Glint, using Glint's abilities will start causing Shiro's Red coloured Energy to influence the resource bar, making it so that eventually, the player will be unable to cast Glint's abilities due to Shiro dominating the bar, and then they will have to swap to Shiro to use his abilities, letting Glint re-establish dominance over the resource bar.
Weapon skills will not longer cost energy to cast this way and will be mostly cooldown based, but utilities will tip the bar in favour of the opposing Legend if overused.
If any of the Legends have at least 60% of the bar dominated, the player will start gaining a bonus toward that legend,
Shiro will give the player increasing amounts of Ferocity
Glint will give the player increasing amounts of Power
Jalis will give the player increasing amounts of Toughness
Mallyx will give the player increasing amounts of Condition Damage
Ventari will give the player increasing amounts of Healing Power
and Kalla will give the player increasing amounts of Precision
