Unable to gain access to the login-server

For a long time, I've been getting the occasional error when trying to logon to the game saying "The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time" with the error code of 42:0:9001:4479. However, it has recently become a persistent problem as I am hardly, if ever, able to login to the game. I have set up an inbound rule in my firewall opening all gw2 traffic.Any help would be appreciated.

beside the GW2.exe, try add the Guild Wars 2\bin64\CoherentUI_Host.exe and Guild Wars 2\bin\CoherentUI_Host.exe to windows firewall, add program and allow the program for public and private network.
