Viper pistol/shield core engi any good WvW class

Got bored one hit core mesmer so i would like to test some other core spec.

Pistol/shield basicly means you have neither condi or power damage and in order to survive while roaming vs classes like certain one-hit mesmers your skillbar will be filled with anything but skills that do any particular condi or power damage (except maybe one kit). There is a reason why people either go full condi or full power. You dont really have room for both in WvW unless you want to get curbstomped.

Pistol/Shield is only used with Holosmith these days, as Holosmith gets ridiculous amounts of damage for free with its elite spec, so can afford to not run any on its weapons.

If you want to run condi, play Dire or Trailblazer. You'll 100% need the survivability, because even if you land your conditions and they aren't cleansed, you still need to not die for a significant number of seconds while they tick.

Play power holo roaming or scrapper in groups. There's no reason to use slow ramping condis because everything will be cleansed and the pistol is a projectile weapon which will be reflected by firebrands and nullified by revenant hammer 4, spellbreaker bubble, as well as elementalist's magnetic aura.
