AgtStarling.6082 Posted February 4, 2020 Share Posted February 4, 2020 Hi! I am a newbie to GW2 and got sucked into the gem store early. I purchased the expansions and received a level 80 boost. I decided to use the boost on a Asura Mesmer and keep my regular necromancer for leveling up normally. My question is this: I purchased the Mistborn mount select license and chose the Point-Tipped Corvus Griffon. Do I still need to complete the Path of Fire story line before I can use the Griffon mount, or because I purchased it from the gem store, am I able to use the mount now with my level 80 character? Ronan.9518 Posted February 4, 2020 Share Posted February 4, 2020 You can only buy skins for the mounts in the gemstore.The mounts themself still need to be unlocked the normal way, that means yes you need to complete the PoF story and the corresponding collections to unlock the griffon before you can use it.Once you have a mount unlocked it can be used by all your characters regardless of the level.edit: fixed a typo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
