Vegeta.2563
I click on the icon and it goes away for a short while, but it reappears like 2 minutes later. It even shows if I have the menu bar set to never show. I'm not sure what's causing it to show up..
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Have you tried a -repair to the client, in case of corrupted file(s)?

Normally this is where guild missions that have been started show up, but this is just the effect from the icon for guild missions. Strange how it shows up by itself. Inculpatus cedo.9234
Hmm... I don't get that by itself. Only when there are active Missions, etc. After they fix the download servers, you might try a fresh install, if you are inclined. (Or now, with the workaround.)It seems like something didn't clear, or...Recently changed any Guilds in your roster? Have any pending invitations?Tried clearing the GW2 cache? Deleting local.dat? Try the -prefreset Command Line Argument?
Stelawrat.6589
I'm relatively new to this & so I noticed this option while looking for a way to take a screenshot... :anguished: In the Options Menu > Control Options > Squad > there are a number of options with respect to markers, including a circle. It seems to indicate that this function applies to map locations, or specific targets, so I suspect that it might not help in your case, but I felt it might be worth a shot.Good luck!
