Are we expecting any news from Pax east?

Like I have written in the title are we expecting news from Pax east from Anet or they are just showing up talking about other things?

They're there because of their partnership with Seize the awkward so I wouldn't expect anything. Not that it ever stopped anybody before from being disappointed, even when they said they visit a con only for business reasons and not to show anything.

Check the sticky dev post, it looks like they have a booth and are in a panel, the latter not being GW2-specific. While they could find a way to do a big announcement and might be gun-shy about hyping it in advance after last time, they don't seem to have any dedicated auditorium time so it's very unlikely they're planning one.

I thought there was mention of them showing something at Pax east a couple weeks ago. I could be wrong, but I thought there was mention of something.
Have no expectations and you will be fine. I don't expect anything big regarding the announce of Visions of the Past. It is probably just a post on the website here and not something hyped at PAX itself. What Visions of the Past will be, we will see by itself when it comes into the game and can play it to see what it is and if we like it.
This is good - PR has been ... lacking somewhat. I think they're making an effort after heaps and heaps of bad news including the "Most Disappointing MMO" award last year.
This post contains my opinion.
I would not expect much. Because it will be released soon, it will be very casual oriented. I just hope it is not like ls2e7. I can also forsee this being paid dlc.
