Thief Raid Meta Build?

Returning player here. What is the meta roll for thief in raids? I see alot of power Staff DPS but I have been hearing that an update in February nerfed power? Is Condi the way to go? Any help is great... been about 3-4 years since i've played regularly and looking to get back into the game again.

They nerfed power in competitive modes (wvw/pvp), you're still k for raids.https://snowcrows.com/raids/builds/thief/daredevil/power/ for builds (pick different builds from the bar at the top).

Thanks! That is really good to know that the nerf is only pvp related. I have been playing P/D Condi Thief in PvP and that has been going pretty good.

Is Boon build asked for more over the Power DPS build?

Only for few specific raid encounters where your stolen skills grant buffs, so in general no. :p

Staff daredevil is more than fine for PVE. I have seen several places bench just the autoattack and it already hits 25K DPS just autoing, which is higher than most condi thief builds.

You really don't want to run condi thief in PVE , as there is no real condition application outside dagger auto (only on 3rd hit) and pistol mainhand unless you consider spamming shortbow Poison fields and Cluster bomb explosions a condi build. Deadly ambition was changed to only occur on dual wield attack (skill 3).
