Give us a receipt to mystic toilet Shards of Glory into Ascended Shards of Glory please Anet ???

Can we please have a mystic toilet receipt to turn Shards of Glory into Ascended Shards of Glory please?

First of all, it's too heavily timegated, the PvE counterpart is only weekly, and the WvW counterpart is avaliable 24/7/365(+1)

Secondly, making it mystic toilet-able into Ascended Shards of Glory will boost the sales value of Shards of Glory on TP, which is 50 coppers, whereas Memory of Battles are 12 silver.

My concept receipt is 750 Shards of Glory + 1 Perfect Mist Core to convert into 250 Ascended Shards of Glory

You forgot to mention that one of those 2 alternatives takes significantly longer (WvW), while the other does not allow to pip farm in bronze or silver rank while being afk.

Now don't get me wrong, I am no fan of time gates. But comparing Pvp time gates to WvW or Pve is hardly a valuable argument. Each system has ups and downs.

I dont see a point, play pvp and you will have endless supply of shards.for example I have 3,8k of them, and I dont even pvp all that much.

There is difference between Shards of Glory and Ascensded Shards of Glory. The amount of latter is limited per season.

I'm agree with OP. This time limits have to go.

you get 100 every time you do the last repeatable chest, if you grind you get as much as you want

OP, as @"Leonidrex.5649" said -- you earn Ascended Shards of Glory by Playing sPvP.

During the regular season, every time you complete the Byzantium (repeatable) chest, you're awarded 100 Ascended Shards of Glory. And even during the mini season by continuously completing the Persimmon (repeatable) chest you get 25.

I made Transcendence, and I still have a surplus of 1100 Ascended Shards of Glory from just this season. I honestly don't see an issue with acquisition as long as you're actually playing sPvP.

4x stacks of 250 shards of glory flushed down toilet = 10 ascended shards of glory.

I don't think something like that would be unreasonable.

It would actually probably draw in more players into ranked seasons as well, because the value of shards would go up = liquid gold. They also forgot how memories of battle cost 22 times more than shards of glory

I even made a post about how ludicrously gated memories of battle are compared to the tickets but WvW players are more interested in selling them while afk farming them 10 hours a day.

Edit: A better idea would be to ask for the ability to convert shards of glory to memories of battle and vice versa. "Apharma you're crazy, that helps nothing" - yes it does, when you've reached the cap on one form of time gated currency you can grab the other while playing PvP at the same time. The gear rewards in PvP start to matter as you use them somewhere else and it helps cross pollinate the competitive game modes.

Remember ANet doesn't like people sitting there grinding the same thing over and over, this is a change you're more likely to get OP.

I don't think they should allow a buyable item to be swapped into a account bound time gated item so gold can bypass the time gate so I vote no

I do play, not sure where people get the impression that I dont play?

the problem I have is the off season, and the over supply of worthless Shards of Glory; the gobbler gives trash also, so worthless turned into worthless

regarding to Byzantium (repeatable) chest, i"m pretty sure someone already raised this a very long time ago, the average per pip sux ass

Persimmon = 0.75 / pipAmaranth = 0.5 / pip and Byzantium = 0.55 / pip, not to mention the number of pips needed to complete

through out the season i would just play as many games as i want, but on the last day i would queue pvp like a mad man just to finished off the repeat ?
