Defeat the Risen Priestess of Dwayna event - hints please

This is the last event I need before I can make the https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Astrolabe that continues the collection for https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Astralaria_IV:_The_Cosmos.

Every time I go to Malchor's Leap, the cathedral is under pact control. Is there a reset on this so that, for example, being in Malchor's Leap immediately after reset means that the cathedral must be reclaimed? The other events have been fun, and I've been able to wait for daily events and daily fractals to rotate in order to see people wanting to do a particular map or a specific fractal. But this event is just argh.

People are clearly doing the defence event, otherwise the cathedral wouldn't be under pact control so often. Any tips on how to get onto a map with the offensive quest chain open are appreciated.

The item is also obtainable from the defense events as well which should occur somewhere in the every 20 minutes to 2 hours range. I haven't sat around the map to check the timers for Dwayna but I did a bit for Grenth and all the temples should run on similar timers. The exact time intervals also depends on whether it is from start to start or from end to start.

Thank you. I got lucky and stumbled upon a map that was retaking the Temple. I was going off to other maps and doing other activities, and then coming back to Malchor's Leap in the hopes that a temple event was occurring. Gosh these are a pain to be locked behind the events.

For these sorts I usually ended up parking a character there and checking once in a while.
