Has Bangar renounced his rank?

If Bangar hasn’t renounced his title, couldn’t he command Blood Legion to march with him? Only Crecia was referred to as Imperator this episode. Will Bangar be labelled a traitor at some point?

Given he promoted Ryland to Tribune, I imagine he still considers himself Imperator, if not Khan-Ur. It's the United legions who he considers traitor. He HAS commanded the legions to March with him, I Imagine, but those who refused due to their loyalty to the Charr legion stayed, and Crecia is essentially their leader, being the highest ranking blood legion officer who didn't leave with Bangar. In a civil war, often people on both sides consider themselves legitimate holders of the same title.

Bangar knew that trying to gain power would make him lose against the other, more competent candidates. So he's taking the "easy" way to get there by force.

He already has been expelled, clearly, as Crecia has taken over. Part of his Dominion troops are Blood Legion, but the fact that he used to be their Imperator doesn't mean all have to follow him blindly into this madness - Charr might be loyal soldiers, but not all of them are plain dumb. ;) The unity of the legions is the essence of the Charr's society and survival, and it therefore exceeds their loyalty for their commanding officer.
