I wish I could see their exact builds. He's running alot of deception so part of thinks hidden Thief, but could be Shadow's Embrace.

Leeching Venom's or Flickering Shadow's?

Marauders Resilience or Escapist's Fort, Havoc Specialist or PI?

Also, I'm guessing Marauders given the health....what runes though? Eagle? Scholar? Why not Divinity?

Edit: Upon watching the videos on my Computer instead of my phones I was able to confirm Leeching Venoms and Hidden Thief.

I'm not seeing heal on dodge so I have to assume Marauder's Res. Anyone know if it's Havoc Spec or PI. I know PI used to be insanely strong...havent seen it main for a while...but playing at that level they can make anything work :P

Given that when he interrupted the Tempest's res a few times with USA and didn't see any Pulmonary Impact procs, I suspect he was using Havoc Spec. (This is based from when I watched the stream live.)

Damn, I knew thief damage was incredibly low, but this is just sad to watch. Its hilarious to think that any random grenade skill I use hits as hard as a thieves backstab.

Yeah but it still kills people, this is 1 of the slipperyst/stealthy builds out there and being able to gank people alone would be a bit too op I think. Being able to get anywhere in the map in seconds and interrupt into a +1 is what this is meant for. Though I do agree, 5k back stab on enemy glass is a bit meh lol

I'd be inclined to agree if there were actually properly hard-hitting options. Thief has pretty much been stripped down to being useless everywhere, especially with the reduced coefs kit-wide and reduced damage modifier access on its more aggressive trait lines.

The main problem with thief - and what has been for years - is that they keep nerfing the actual build options and refuse to allow aggressive styles to be playable, and that its damage and defenses/slipperiness are not decoupled properly.

Backstab's damage is neutered due to deadeye buffing it. If you buff backstab you buff deadeye backstab but.....no one is playing deadeye.
