Before we nerf damage numbers again, let’s look at competitive improvements to other areas.

1- Reevaluate base health.

2- Improve heal support skills, roles, and mechanics as a counter to damage output. And considering this is a team based game, and heal support is a balancing factor to damage, this is logical.

3- Might want to consider raising player limits to something like 7v7 normally for matches to make more possible openings for support roles on teams. And I came from a game that was primarily 8v8, and around that number seemed to work well in pvp.

11k Hp seems fine on thief but not guard or ele. There's a reason these two classes are stuck in support roles all the time, especially ele.

It does honestly feel like support is a nearly useless role outside of AT's and a great way to lower your rating in ranked.

Supports still work, but I don't recommend playing it without a trusted duo. There's no use healing your teamates if they face tank every burst and instant down after you've just rezzed them. Find yourself a pvp partner if you plan on playing support in ranked. It will help you maintain your sanity.

mmmm ..... nothis game have a big design flaw around heal suport, and this is that you also heals yourself making heal suport specs also big sturdy tanks, if heal suport have to be improved they have to divide clearly suport skills of the ones that heals yourself

Anet has already found ways around this by giving support specs +X% Healing to allies. It's an easy problem to solve.

Anet has already found ways around this by giving support specs +X% Healing to allies. It's an easy problem to solve.

I would personally stray away from raw healing as support ability, healing for some is fine but if its the main thing support does then it becomes very binary, and a stat check. Giving superspeed, short stealth, ripping boons, creating walls, soft cc are much more healthy IMO

Playing anything but holo +x, power rev + x or thief + x is a pretty bad duo. Support just..doesn't work for winning games.

supporting just 1 player isnt good enough to make it worth it, might as well play 2x holo or holo+thief. but support could be a nice offpick for you if you knew people in your team are competent
