Game Crashes at Launch - Failed to start Coherent host

Can anyone help me with this? Whenever i start the launcher i get this error . Mind you, last time i logged in was yesterday, since then i havent installed or changed anything. The game is in its own folder "D:\Guild Wars 2" and has always been there.Things i tried and didnt work:

1. Repair.
2. Run as Administrator.
3. Clear the gw2 cache in the temp files.
4. Disable Antivirus , antimalware software and run the game.

I don't know. Might be odd that it shows GW2 bin and Coherent on drive G....?

If you haven't already, be sure to disable any mods, Reshade, or other additional programs that modify the game. These always cause issues after updates until the authors of such mods update their own programs.

I got similar problem, mate. I played today morning before and after the new build. I came back from work and now GW2 doesn't want to start. Tried several times in several ways. But for me it looks like this, I start GW2 and my PC freezes to the point I have to restart it manually.

Shame, since I wanted to play after a break.

If you have to ask if you have anything like that, then it is likely you don't, since you need to purposely install these things. In your case I think you can safely ignore my advice.

I could solve this issue:

I deleted the folder named

bin64

and all its contents.

It is found next to/same folder as Gw2-64.exe

 

The game will load a new copy of these files/folder

This solved it for me, hope also for you and others that run into this issue and look here.
