Finally I have saved to buy a gaming PC - I'll either get a 2080Ti or one of the new NVIDIA 3000 series GPU's. What monitor is best for GW2? Can I run it well with a 1440 monitor? Or is it better in 1080? Don't know too much about 4K gaming...would a 4K monitor be good? The only other games I will be playing will be a bit of FFXIV, New World (when it comes out), Microsoft Flight Sim and Ashes of Creation (when it comes out). Sorry for the noob question, I honestly do not know much about tech, and I am confused about what refresh rate and stuff that I need for the best performance. steki.1478 Posted August 23, 2020 Share Posted August 23, 2020 Gw2 is your worst benchmark for monitors because FPS gets pretty bad around people so your refresh rate becomes irrelevant if it's above 60Hz.
