Girlfriends account ID is a GUID instead of ABCD.1234

So my girlfriend recently got this game. She had an old account from the old GW1 days that she used to activate the game on.

When asking her what her Account ID was (so I could add her as a friend) she told me it was a very long string of random characters.

Upon looking at it, I noticed it was a GUID: eg. something like this: {abadcf-alfkdha-afhh1234-etaf13ab}

Name auto completion does not work for this. When trying to send mail, her name gets auto populated as three random letters (not even the GUID used for her account id).

Is there a way to change your account ID? Its quite annoying having name auto-complete never work.
