Weapon skins seem repetitive - Any hints on searching in game for weapon skins ?

Since I came back after 4 years and I started to look at what new weapon skins came out. But it seems my 4 year old skins were much more unique then what is currently out..

Just seems the new weapons are a triangle pistol or a bent bar for rifle with some attachment denoting what the theme is.

In game I went to market and noticed if I remove profession I get different weapons to look at.
I also started just going through the alphabet to discover weapons.. EG searching for A then B then C.. ETC..

Bank->wardrobe tab. Every single armor and weapon piece in the game is there to preview, like 5000+ of them.

Note that it doesnt say if it's a "special" item (achievement based, BL, special events etc) so you may be dissapointed at things you cant get.

Unfortunately not all items appear in the wardrobe tab though the vast majority do. For the rest you can search the wiki then copy-paste the chat-code ingame to preview them. Places like https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gallery_of_pistols can be a good resource.

As an aside, I find the pistol skins to be some of the worst in the game. Maybe it's just because they're small, but I find very few of them visually interesting. If they fit your theme, alchemical, glacial or nightwing are pretty good, while the X legion ones are decent as a generic option. Qadim's is great but obviously hard to get.

At least pistols has one of the most awesome legendaries with H.O.P.E. :)

Nominate this 'Zhanlu sword' to be made in GW2...The real one is lost as it is buried in a secret tomb together with a noble.Place of tomb is secret and sword never recovered.Hence no fears of copy right infringement, sword smith is long dead as well
