I wasn't sure where else to post this, But I do need to get into contact with a GM or a Dev. I have had some serious accusations thrown against me, on an RP server. None of it In Character interactions. These are serious OOC allegations, and it's causing a issue in my personal life now. Some assistance would be appriciated ASAP. Otherwise I will take further action due to negligence on ANET's Part. Sorry if this sames angry, or toxic. But, it's becoming a serious problem, and I'd like to see it dealt with.

if this is a true story then: sign in here and file a support ticket regarding harassment ingame (Choose the category: "Report a Player").https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us

attach all evidence you can gather (video/screenshots/screenshots of chats/people involved), if credible enough they may take action. do note that if there's also things that occured outside the game (such as in a social network or discord server) ArenaNet may not factor those in your issue and may only consider what occured in-game.

edit: support also prioritises certain tickets (such as login issues -- which are one of the priority tickets / <24hour response), so your issue may or may not take 24hours (max of around 3 days) before you get a response.

some reminders again:

  • file your issue/ticket in the proper category or else you will be asked to create a new ticket and you will be put at the end of the queue
  • don't use a vpn when filing a ticket or else you will be asked to create a new ticket with your local isp and you will be put at the end of the queue
  • don't file duplicate tickets because they will get merged and put at the end of the queue

Just wanted to add this, it might be unrelated to this issue, still: there are no RP servers in GW2.

The game runs on a megaserver system. As such, even if certain servers where more frequented with RP guilds in the past, no matter which server you join, you will be mixed and matched with players from any server in PvE, instances or Spvp in the current version of the game. The only 2 cases in which server selection matter are WvW and NA or EU region.

I'm aware of this. I mean, I primarily RP. Using the Tarnished Coast Server as a hub.

Because this is serious! Block is obvious and I can't imagine what his further action could be. Block ss report and if it is serious then it could result in a ban. W/o further info which I don't require it could be a legit concern of harassment or just some minor thing that caused unintended offense. Who knows nowadays

What happened? I'm curious to know. I'm trying to imagine a scenario that could occur in-game without access to a persons personal information that would cause distress in real life, but I just come up with a blank. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Its become very common that someone can make accusations about a person and then other people that person knows believe it without a shred of evidence, or with just out-of-context logs (OP mentioned some OOC stuff), etc. Its actually become something of an epidemic itself that people can do this, harassment campaigns can do massive damage even without any real evidence or information.

For example a person can message someone's partner in game and say "they're cheating", do you think it'll just be ignored? All they need is a basic knowledge of those people on a normal social level of familiarity, to cause some trouble.

Its kind of like the social equivalent of "photoshopping" an image.

Also on some game modes u need make visible only specific chat, for exsample on spvp remove checkbox from say/map/team and some other chat.

And remember if u want find mud - u will find it, if u want get fun - u will get it.

These are serious OOC allegations, and it's causing a issue in my personal life now.so in this way no one from support can help you. You need find psychological specialist(preferably from India or China get it from personal experience) and ask help from him, or from parents.

That's pretty evil, I never thought of it like that.

In my personal experiences within guild wars I've been accused of being a drug dealer by a thief I repeatedly killed in WvW and I currently have one stalker who claims to be in the United States Marine Corps who has me added to their "list" to try to follow me to kill me in game, because of my religion (represented by my guild tag) and the fact that I beat him repeatedly as well (not sure if it's with terms to post the screen shots here). I never reported either, I enjoy the competition and find it quite amusing because of how ridiculous it sounds.

This is not to take away from the OP's experience, it's just my own personal ones within gaming haven't been anything serious and is the basis for why I couldn't think of a situation that could happen in game that could affect a person outside of it.
