General views on 5 or 10 target limits of skills/boons

I love how people's responses include gross generalizations without specific skills.

If you're talking about sustain or damage :
Might : the might duration is literally 6s or less on most skills in WvW (i.e. Empower , "Feel the Burn", or "F.GJ.")Fury : the only culprit would be herald fury spam , unless you expect people to run sword , axe or "F.M.W." on firebrand and people to stand in it... good luck with that ; "F.G.J." on shout warriors is not overpowering in any fashion ; nobody runs spirits on rangers (good luck running decent rangers anyhow). If heralds were nerfed in fury application, you better believe we'd see more aurashare tempests running Zephyr's Boon or otherwise.Quickness : Other than a 2-4 seconds of quickness from guardian mantra of solace (which is risky on inexperienced guardians) , you really don't have many viable options because you want your guardians to be running stability not quickness mantras. In addition , the quickness duration on the utility mantra of potence is 1s base duration. If you run the mantra cooldown trait it means you lose the 2s base duration quickness on stability/aegis which is more or less hard to coordinate. The other option for quickness is chrono with Seize the Moment , but chrono in general is basically for boon rip right now , so clone generation isn't high enough to facilitate large amounts of quickness because you wouldn't run scepter mainhand and clones still melt.
Alacrity : Running a renegade has a severe penalty in that you lose all facets from herald and you lose a chunk of crit chance whenever you dodge ; alacrity from mesmer wells is basically out of the questionSwiftness: The only culprit is heralds.

Aegis: it doesn't stack. With the damage nerfs, the likelihood of negating a large hit is much lower.Protection: there's no such thing as permanent protection really unless you run hammer guardian, boon duration on tomes is negligible now and you would need to cycle mace+shield on more than one guardian per party as durations range from 3-5s.Stability: Unless you want to be a ping pong ball or pirate captain at 900-1200 range, you should really reconsider any statements about stability. It was going to be nerfed but the devs decided against increased cooldowns for a reason.Regeneration: When is the last time you heard regeneration being OP? Really.Retaliation: Was nerfed, also unless you're dropping barrage or meteor shower it isn't even a large factor in the grand scheme of things.Resistance : It was never permanent and you still need to deal with conditions once resistance ends. It's more of a pause button ; you're better off with scrappers playing condi-to-boon hot potato.
