GW2 on SSD and HDD

Hello fellow citizens of Tyria,

I noticed something strange lately when playing GW2 on my SSD vs my HDD. I had strange game freezes when playing from my SSD. The game froze, and the "active time" viewed in the Task Manager in Windows maxed out at 100% while no read or write activity was active. Additionally UI-Elements would sometimes take ages to load.These issues were not the case, after i moved the game folder (copy n paste) onto my HDD. Can i blame GW2 for that or is my SSD screwed? By S.M.A.R.T. parameters, the SSD is healthy with nearly everything at 100%.I already tried if using dx912p would make a difference, but it didn't. Other than that, i never used any addon.

Would love to hear your thoughts, maybe somebody has a similiar experience. :)

I had a similar experience a few years back. Turns out that my ssd, which was also my system drive had gotten to be nearly full. Windows updated and the windows.old caused the 120g drive to fill to 112gb. Simplest workaround was to clear those files and then judiciously watch space usage for that drive until I added a separate ssd just for programs/games.
