I'm opening my bags this year for the candy corn mostly. I need cobs for those sick demon skins. I'm also hoping to get lucky and grab some of the Oontz infusions (which I've gotten 3 so far). I want an ember infusion of course, but I'm not holding my breath.

I've opened around 2,000 and got 2 infusions... Just spent all my luck for another 365 days

If you specifically want candy corn it's far more efficient to sell the bags and buy candy corn with the gold than to open them. Of course if you don't mind the loss from opening the bags because you want to try for the infusion that's fair enough, but if your main priority is to get candy corn it's not a great way to go about it.
