The fractal was inside a volcano and there was a yellow sideways square icon on the objective UI that looks like it modifies the monsters a bit. The thing was Mistlock Instability which makes the mobsters gain a buff on hit or somethingLink to screenshotSince I'm still new at doing fractals I also dont know which ones I should be doing or shouldnt be doing.?At the end boss I got The floor is lava achievement ? I dont know how to add resistance to my current gear though which is dungeon gear.Yes you can, can be hard to dodge some of the agony damage tho.You cant you need ascended gear to slot in agony resistance.You can upgrade the +1 you get from fractals into higher ones at 1 of the cat golems in fractal lobby. Jewellry/back items can be gained from;Laurel vendors (I've kitted almost every toon out via laurel vendors with full ascended jewellry)Guild commendation vendorsMaps like Bloodstone Fen, Ember Bay, Bitterfrost Frontier, Bjora Marches, Sirens LandingDrops from fractals themselves (other ascended types drop here too) or bought with Fractal tokensCertain story achievements in places like Heart of Thorns and Path of FireWvWNext easiest is weapons;CraftingElite specialisation collection completionsAchievementsTequatl/DrakkarFractalsWvWArmour is more often than not the last to get because it takes longer to craft, collect or drop.
