I'm enjoying the new tweaks but a custom cursor is still essential... also, a sound question...

Recommended Posts

We all know this game suffers from visual clutter in massive fights, so as much as I would like to extend my appreciation to those working on tweaks for the game (some which have been massively overdue), I'm really hoping that sometime in the near future Anet can allow us to customise our cursors so that it can be seen during the visual assault on our eyeballs.

Just like to ask, did GW2 have any updates to its sound engine? Just wondering because unless over the last 2 PC builds I've had I've buggered up my sound in only one game, GW2 audio seems to sound significantly more detailed. I have been away from GW2 for like 4 months until just recently so perhaps I'm missing something?

Enjoy GW2 during quarantine. :) Stay healthy!

Windows OS also has a built-in mouse finding tool which works good in GW2.

Control Panel => Mouse => Pointer Options => ☒ Show location of the pointer when I press CTRL keyUvf9IKH.jpg

In order to make it work, you need to rest in position. A circle will appear around your cursor shrinking in size. The instant you move the mouse, the animation gets aborted. That allows you to return back to business quickly. The animation is also not really flashy, so it should not slow down the game. This also works when you hold the right mouse-button to rotate the camera. It is a good alternative for people who do not want to run another program in their task-bar.

More customization options on the other hand are always welcome, especially regarding the UI.
