Net: ERR_ABORTED in TP, Gems...

Recommended Posts

Hello, I formatted my Pc some days ago and since I formated it I cant access the Trading post or gem store due the error stated in the title. In addition, In the launcher, news are no longer appearing, instead there´s a unique new wich says: visit gw2 to see news and updates.

I reinstalled the game, clear the cache of the game, ipconfig /flushdns. I also installed godaddy certificates as it says in one reddit post about the same problem and I'm still facing it.Please, my inventory can't resist this more, i need to sell stuff to continue playing.

It is a matter of connection/firewall/ports or something related, that's for sure. So I started to think about. I don't remember the firewall asking me to add an exception for gw2 at installing so I made them, in and out rule, I have read that CoherentUI_Host.exe has something to be with BLTC and launche so I made an exception in firewall for this 2. I'm not sure if I correctly made the exceptions in win 7 but think so, problem is still.Does anyone knows which ports uses BLT? so i could try to open that port.

The trading post is just a website, so it's using port 443 (https). You can test your general ability to access it through your browser (use internet explorer):https://tradingpost-live.ncplatform.net/humans.txthttps://tradingpost-dfw-live.ncplatform.net/humans.txt

CoherentUI_Host.exe is what's actually acting as the web browser. If it can't access the internet, it will cause this problem.

If this is an older version, you need to run through Windows update; SP1 is required.

I had to help someone with this exact problem, for them it turned out their https certificate wasn't installed so when they visited https://tradingpost-dfw-live.ncplatform.net/humans.txt When you check Inspect mode and go to Security tab .. if it doesn't say "Certificate - trusted and valid"

This is the issue. They too were on Windows 7.. you will need to install the official certificate from https://certs.godaddy.com/repository/gdroot-g2.crt
